Volunteering

You can never be too busy! I volunteer throughout the year with two amazing organisations.

Queen's Park Book Festival is my local literary festival that offers me the opportunity to work with a team of passionate volunteers, event managers and stellar authors. I promote the festival through marketing to the public and across the publishing trade. It's the only London literary festival to take place entirely in a park and it's an event not to be missed (September 2021).

The Historical Writer's Association is one of the best writer's groups around. I'm on the judging panel for the Dorothy Dunnett Short Story Prize where we shortlist the best historical fiction short stories submitted. It's always a pleasure and the submissions get better every year!
